Is there any limit on the number of reports I can create, distribute or generate using print4mobile™?

No. You can create, generate and distribute an unlimited number of reports using the print4mobile™ software.

How many developer and run-time licenses of print4mobile™ do we need to purchase?

You are required to purchase one print4mobile™ developer license for each named software developer that will use the print4mobile™ Designer to create reports. And you  must purchase an inexpensive run-time license for each mobile computing device on which the print4mobile™ Engine (with or without the print4mobile™ Viewer) shall be deployed.

For example: If you are the only developer at your company that creates reports using the print4mobile™ Designer then you only need to purchase one developer license. With this license you can create an unlimited number of reports for an unlimited number of customers. However, for your customers to run the reports they shall need the print4mobile™ Engine. You are required to purchase for each handheld computer, on which the print4mobile™ Engine is deployed with your reports, a run-time license.

As a software developer can print4mobile™ help me protect my investment in designing reports?

Yes. The print4mobile™ Designer allows you to specify an encryption key that will be used to encrypt the report specification file before deploying it to the mobile computing device. You must then provide the encryption key from your mobile software application when calling the print4mobile™ Engine to produce a report.

Does this mean that I can charge separately to provide my customers with the key to allow them to self-modify print4mobile™ reports?

Yes. Since only you know the key used to create the encrypted report specification file, only you can provide this value added offer to your customers. Note that each report may use a different key, so you may wish to consider how to assign keys to different reports and customers.

Do I have to close a Maintenance Support Agreement to receive support?

Yes. Without payment for the availability and access to support staff it would not be commercially viable to provide high quality and efficient support to all users of print4mobile™. By closing a maintenance support agreement you have available to you the print4mobile™ support staff to help you promptly address any issues or problems that may arise in your use of print4mobile™. Additional benefits include reduced prices for software product upgrades.

Will you provide support on the use of print4mobile™ directly to my customer?

Generally speaking no. Support of print4mobile™ at your customers is primarily your responsibility. If we are contacted with a support request we shall do our best to identify you as the print4mobile™ Development Partner that sold the print4mobile™ license to a specific company and forward the support request back to you. In almost all cases, this is the most productive way to manage the support request, as inevitably print4mobile™ related issues are often tied to the specifics of the mobile software application. In special circumstances however, it may be possible to agree that print4mobile™ support shall be provided directly to your customer. In such cases however, the customer must first close a Maintenance Support Agreement.

I have not found the specific portable printer I intend to use in your list of print4mobile™ compatible printers - does this mean I cannot use print4mobile™ to print to this printer?

Perhaps. You shall need to test the specific portable printer with print4mobile™ to determine if it is functioning properly. Generally speaking EPSON compatible portable printers should work fine with the Generic Printer driver in the print4mobile™ Engine. However, some portable printers require modified commands and special communications handling to work properly. If you need to support a special portable printer model, contact the print4mobile™ Publishing Group to discuss available options for adding specific printer support drivers.

Who is GATC - the software developer and publisher?

GATC s.r.o. is a subsidiary of GATC Inc., a US based investment company. GATC s.r.o. is tasked with the development, support, marketing and sales of software solutions for mobile computing. GATC s.r.o is incorporated in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, a member of the European Union. GATC s.r.o. conducts most of its business world-wide through partners and direct multinational software license agreements.

Can I purchase a license for print4mobile™ directly over the web?

Yes. If you have registered as a print4mobile™ Development Partner you may purchase print4mobile™ licenses by completing the on-line order form and paying the appropriate license fees.

If you are an end-user with an application that uses print4mobile™ then the provider of your mobile software application should have licensed a copy of print4mobile™ for your company in order that you may legally use the print4mobile™ software. Therefore, please contact your mobile application software provider for proof of print4mobile™ license to your company and an authorized copy of the print4mobile™ run-time software. If you are interested in obtaining a print4mobile™ developer license you may do so by first completing the free registration to become a print4mobile™ Developer  Partner and then complete the on-line order form to obtain the software licenses you need.

How do I license print4mobile™ for use at my customers? 

Simply go to the on-line order page and complete an order for the number of run-time and/or developer licenses that you need. We shall then contact you to request additional information to complete the run-time license registration for your customer.

Can I provide a demo application, that uses the print4mobile™ software, to my potential customers without having to first license for them a copy of print4mobile™ ? 

Yes. You can provide demo applications that use the print4mobile™ software to 3rd parties under the conditions given below, for the explicit purpose of allowing them to evaluate your software before a possible purchase.

1st. - You may not charge or receive any financial remuneration for the provision of the software demo that includes print4mobile™, aside from a nominal fee to cover software duplication and administrative costs.

2nd. - The demo application may not substantially duplicate the functionality or the effective purpose for which the Mobile Report Generator application is otherwise used. In other words, your demo application cannot be competitive to the print4mobile™ Engine software.

As you can perhaps appreciate, the print4mobile™ Publishing Group wishes to provide a very reasonable and flexible license policy to support your development of new business opportunities. However, software design and use schemes designed to circumvent the license conditions for the pure purpose of evading license payments is not supported.
